The 3 Best Movies to Show off Your Home Theater

Home theaters are meant to be displayed for the world to see. Our team came up with three of the best movies to display the power of your new system!

When you decided to install a new home theater, you may have had a few dreams of you and your family enjoying the latest blockbuster with perfect blu-ray and surround sound. But if we’re being honest, you were also probably thinking about showing it off to relatives and neighbors. And why not? Your  HD 4K display needs to showcase the high resolution and contrast it can create. And your 9.2  surround sound system should be able to pound on the eardrums of your guests. After years of installing home theaters, we’ve learned a thing or two about the best movies to play when you’re showing off.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Really, you can’t go wrong with any of these Avenger movies, however, Age of Ultron adds more depth, bone-shaking blasts, and visual effects that your home theater will proudly display. Be sure to watch the ending battle scene, and keep your ears out for the Hulk’s roar. You’ll be sure to know you spent your money wisely.

Jurassic World
Yes, there are arguments back and forth about whether or not this lived up to the first movie’s glory, but it doesn’t take away from the epic dinosaur CG fight scenes combined with the famous T-Rex roar. Make sure your chairs have cup holders when the T-Rex and Indominus Rex meet for the final fight of the movie -- they’re going to be moving!

Planet Earth
Ok, maybe this one isn’t technically a movie, but what better way to put your new home theater to the test than with real shots of nature. Whether it’s a crisp picture of our bluest oceans, or a fly-by over a heard of a thousand wildebeest, all of your friends, family, or neighborhood will be in awe throughout this powerful documentary.
